Brian is considered an emerging thought leader which has afforded him the opportunity to speak as a presenter at various local and national conferences as an advocate for Building Relationships in the classroom by using Digital Access to amplify student voice in order to meet students where they are.

Engagements such as TCEA, TCC, eMerge, Revolution Learning, Tech & Learning Live and ISTE, Brian encourages educators and students to embrace the use of technology to build opportunities for students to become leaders in the digital space. This begins at home first for Brian. He and his 7 year old daughter have started The Captain Kindness and a Live-streaming broadcast to inject a little love in the world. The show is centered around his daughter’s passion to help others not only be kind whenever possible, but to also intentionally capture kindness, be on the lookout for others being kind and then amplify their actions. This epitomizes how we can use technology to take digital citizenship to the next step of Digital Leadership.
