The Novel Effect app provides a multi-sensory reading experience by syncing soundscapes (professionally created sound effects, theme music, and voices) that play in the background as you read from favorite children's books. Novel Effect uses smart voice technology so that the words you speak trigger specific sounds to play at specific points in the book. The technology behind Novel Effect only enhances the reading experience, leaving the focus on the actual storybook. Novel Effect is a great way to convey illustrations to visually impaired students, and is also a fantastic addition to any imagery lesson. Novel Effect can help take children to the a new level of text connection. There are currently over 170 books available, with more being added weekly, so readers are bound to find an old (or make a new) favorite!
