Participants will discover creative methods that integrate technology and 21st century skills especially for ELAR and co-teaching environments. The session will provide teachers, administrators and specialists with alternatives to traditional accommodations that ensure student buy-in at all levels.
This session will focus on Nearpod as a classroom hub, designed specifically for review of ELL, SPED and other learning styles. We will explore Storyboardthat (a comic strip maker), Storybird (an on-line art integration and writing tool) and Padlet (a storyboarding and class organization hub). TEKS liking to these sites will be provided and enhanced with instant feedback.
If attendees are looking for new ideas for ELAR and SPED that are more than the traditional graphic organizers; this is the session for them! Participants will leave feeling confident about the possibilities of designing inclusive, creative product-based outcomes and assessments that engage the most reluctant students.
Note: All sessions are first come first serve. Seats are not guaranteed.
