Abre is an open-source education platform developed by educators to address the complexity of education software, particularly in a 1:1 environment. This session focuses on Abre apps that integrate data from all sources in order for educators to make informed decisions. Attendees will also learn the steps to launch Abre as a platform for schools.

Abre provides three core functions: (1) A one-stop shop where teachers, admins, students, and parents can access all the information and tools they need for academic growth; (2) An app ecosystem that hosts, provides, and connects software apps ; (3) A development platform that allows anyone to create connected apps for education.

Created in the Hamilton City School District in 2013, Abre quickly grew to run many district functions while saving the district a significant amount of money.

Note: All sessions are first come first serve. Seats are not guaranteed.
