Dr. Monica Loas, currently a certified librarian (Information Literacy Specialist) in Aldine ISD, has experience as a Special Education teacher, Instructional Technology Specialist, and testing coordinator/skills. Dr. Loas presented several staff development sessions for local conferences and for her district's special education program tools to help the teachers and students to be successful in their roles. Dr. Loas received her Master of Education in Administration at Sam Houston State University and in Special Education with a focus on Educational Diagnostician at Texas Tech University. She recently completed her doctoral in Professional Leadership - Social Education/Social Justice program at the University of Houston. She is currently the social media manager of EdCampAldine. Dr. Loas was very honored to work behind the scenes for TCCA for the past five years and now excited to go back to her roots of presenting!
