Roberto serves as a Digital Learning Specialist at Aldine ISD. Previously, Roberto has helped lead Digital Learning Coaches through their first year in the role at Spring ISD where several different engaging applications and strategies were shared for campuses district-wide. Roberto has previously served as one of the first Technology Teachers in the elementary level at Spring ISD. He started the first LEGO club and Coding club for 3rd-5th graders. Prior to this role, he taught 4th grade Bilingual math and science. Outside of his work for Spring ISD, Roberto is a fan of video games (old and new), coding for all kids, LEGOs, STEAM education, and a supporter for bringing new and innovative ideas to classrooms to change the mindset of what we grew up with in education.
