My name is Sara DeWitt, and my end goal is to individualize instruction for every student, not just our special populations. Disabled students deserve inclusive practices and engaging activities that meet them where they are, and I genuinely think using technology is a way to do that. By making learning game-based, students see a more concrete benefit to skills that may present as solely a frustration point. I am excited to present about Prodigy and show teachers how Prodigy can be used for individualized instruction, whether it is IEP goal monitoring, RTI progress monitoring, differentiated instruction, or just plain old practice.
